YHC 2

I have a feeling that those that are attending the YHC are part of something big. God is going to use them to participate in His activity. God is calling for an assembly of young men and women and all those concerned - people who have a heart for the job, including the leaders, to do something for Him. And at this worship service, the message delivered is going to be important and urgent and concerning that particular activity that He wants us to conduct. He will tell them of things that they want to know, and have come to find out. It will be a message of guidance for the task that is ahead. It will open their eyes and help them to understand better. There is something great that He is doing, and everyone is involved in it - from the greatest even to the smallest - as long as they are at the camp. There is an activity that He wants us to do together. This activity will be a few days long. But there will be preparation involved beforehand. This activity is meant to build up the people as well as unite them. And everyone is involved. No one is to be left out. If they came for the camp and are not included in the activity, they are like isolated and not part of the camp.

So if you are coming, please be involved in all the activities after the camp.

Ooops..... almost missed Cindy out ....

All of you remember Cindy from KT.

Got to tell all of u guys that she has volunteered herself to be a back-up singer for our KT church.

How wonderful!

God is indeed moving among your generation - u guys are the future leaders of the church and the nation.

Do what God has put in your heart to do, do not be afraid to take challenges !!!!!! :)

Pray for Kevin from KB

Hi! guys, i just had an sms that Kevin fell down in School yesterday and his left wrist bone is broken.

Looks like it out of action - our drummer cannot play for the time being.

Send him an sms or email to encourage him everyone.

Lets all continue to pray - that what God has begun in all the lives of the youth in the camp will continue and each youth will grow spiritually and be used by God in a powerful way.

Amen!

Esther n Kevin playing instruments in the church in KB

Hi! everyone, just wanted to let u guys know that Kevin and Esther are now both respectively playing the keyboard and the drums for the KB LRC church worship service.

Praise God!

He did a wonderful thing in their lives and both of them wanted to serve God.

We are so encouraged by them and their desire for the Lord.

Testimony form Winnie from KT

hi! guys, just wanted to update u all. Its been slightly more than a month after the camp and God has continued to move in the lives of the students.

Below is a testimony from Winnie, she sent it to me through sms, the day they left the camp to go home to KT. These are her exact words....

"Pastor Faith, when we were in the bus, the first thing we did was prayed. After praying the bus wanted to start the engine but tried and tried and can't manage to start. The bus driver said there is something wrong with the battery and somemore no oil....so i call 5 of us to pray again..... pray until the bus moves, if not dun stop the prayer... I really feel it is the devil's work..... So i rebuked the devil out of the bus in the name of jesus.....And called jesus to protect the bus and surround this bus with lots and lots of angels.... Finally the bus is moving now.... I m so happy with that....^^ "

Everyone, give a great loud clap to God ! He is indeed real and has given us his authority.

Odelia Tan, 14

Before the camp

I always felt left out and that I had a little friends. Eventhough I knew I had Jesus with me but I just felt lonely. I sometimes feel playing the piano was a burden as I couldn't play well.

After the camp

I now know that Jesus will never leave me nor forsake me. All I had to do was to seek God. I now learn that if I just keep playing for the Lord, He will make it better and better. I know that Jesus is my best friend too and He is always there with me even though I can't see Him.

Before the camp

Before the camp, I was not really wanted to come because I felt that this camp is bored, not fun at all and I was not dare to make new friends. Besides, I never join such youth camp before but National Convention. But I came! Guess what, not force by my mum but God keeps on remind me about this camp! So... in order to be obedient so I decided come. My mum so shocked and she forced my brother to come. In our journey, I felt so uncomfortable, angry, frustrated and kept on blaming & complaining. I really hate the bus driver. Everytime he scolded us, the bus surely broke down and stopped at the road side. The air-cond not functioning made me felt so hot and angry. My temper was bad than before. I felt I don't want to come to this camp. I don't even want to pray.

After the camp

God really is a great God. He protected and guided our journey and we finally reached MV. After that, I found out the campers were very friensdly to me. They were trying to make friend with me. First day "The Rich Man and his wife" lead the worship. My tears were overflowing. After cried. I felt so, so, so peace and joy. My temper so, so, so good. Then I found out the camp was so interesting with the cleaning, COOKING, worshipping, devotion, sharing problems, praying... etc. I love this camp so much especially my team and room mate. I hope I am manage to join the youth camp on this December.

Justin Tan, 11

Before the camp

I didn't want to come, but my mother forced me to come. I had a hard time making friends. Even do have some different friends, They're mood and attitude are all different from mine.

After the camp

I learnt many from others, all the games are all exhausting especially the photohunt. I learnt more about God and improving my devotion little by little bit. The camp changed my life.

Victor Ooi, 14
